Pittsburgh Schiller Goes Green with Trees
The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Group in collaboration with the Brickman Group planted bushes and trees outside of Pittsburgh Schiller. The landscaping enhancement adds new green space and a seating area for the students to connect with nature and their surrounding environment.
Thanks to the Grable Foundation for a 1.5 million dollar grant for 4 years throughout the 66 Pittsburgh Public Schools. 12 projects have been completed at schools with 18 more scheduled for the fall. Also thanks to David Wilson school ground greening project coordinator from the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
