Pittsburgh CAPA students earn Gold Key recognition in 2010
Each year, more than 165,000 works of art and writing are submitted to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Only 10,000 students earn Gold Keys as decided by leaders in the creative industries.
Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 is pleased to announce that the following literary artists have earned Gold Key recognition in 2010.
Samara McGraw, Dylan Bahney, Miriam Brostoff, Ekin Erkan, Noah Gup, Elena Jackendoff, Ben Kline, Megan Lohner, Alison Malehorn, Clare Matway, Olivia Meyer, Kelsey Miller, Agatha Monasterios-Ramirez, Matt Reiser, Rachel Rothenberg, Jessica Sanfilipo, Clara Stuligross, Makhala Swift, Jasper, Wang, Samantha Winston, Madeline Colker, Jamie Corbett, Tyler Hudson, Jessica Ignasky, Demetria Jennings Emily Klein, Jonathan Lee, Abbie Maynard, Abby McGeehan, Linday McParlane, Anna Nix, Alexis Payne, Jazmine Phillips-Acie, Anita Trimbur, Azje Walters, Cole Weber, April Yoder, and Taylor Fife.
The students’ writing will now move to the National Level of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
